Legal aid can be helpful as it can cover costs for legal advice, representation in court or at a tribunal, and family mediation. It is available for a range of legal issues, including but not limited to:
- benefit appeals
- debt (if your home is at risk)
- special educational needs
- housing, discrimination
- advice and assistance for victims of domestic violence
- issues involving a child being taken into care
