Review: I used Baker Macdonald for the conveyancing on a house purchase last year. I've bought and sold several houses over the years and I am sorry to say that Jane Whiting (one of the two partners) was the worst solicitor I have ever had to deal with. It took an average of two or three emails to get any response to queries raised, that was when I was an active client. But after the house purchase was completed there was an outstanding issue that is still unresolved. Despite literally multiple emails asking about it, I have never had the courtesy of a reply. Not even a reply to say sorry they cannot help me anymore. I have had to write off over 1000 pounds because of their lack of professionalism. Avoid like the plague.
