Review: Warning: do not use them. This company was allocated to us by the broker Onthemove and was highly recommended by them. Our experience has been horrific and nothing has gone to plan. From the beginning, we have been unable to contact the solicitor Victor Velastegui, we have phoned, emailed, left messages, with absolutely no response. Throughout the conveyancing process, we have had absolutely no idea what stage we were at, if any searches had been done, etc. We have sent numerous emails requesting information and clarification, with no response. After that experience, we put a review on Trustpilot and Google Reviews and others, which was very negative, based on our experience. We were called by the managing director Aliosman Halil, he assured us that they would be more proactive and that he would be on the case for us. He asked us to take down the review. We did this in good faith. The problem is that nothing really changed. We had a few phone calls and a few emails from Hutchins&Co but still no real progress. The estate agent and the vendor's solicitor have also never been able to obtain a response. Important documents like the management pack were sent and totally ignored. The vendor and the estate agent, as well as ourselves, have totally lost confidence in Hutchins&Co, we would not even be comfortable sending them our money, as we are cash buyers (which our own solicitor was not even aware of at a later stage). We have decided to switch solicitors and have even got a reduction on the property price by the vendor to switch solicitors, as everyone just wants to complete the sale. No one has confidence in Hutchins&Co to complete the conveyancing. We have sent an email informing Hutchins&Co that we no longer want them to act for us, with, as expected, no reply. Again, be warned, do not use them.

Review: Commercial Property I have been using Aliosman Halil for all my property transactions. Both residential and Commercial. I find him extremely knowledgeable and approachable. He is always available to take my call and respond in a very professional and honest way. His fees for the level of knowledge and professionalism he displays are very reasonable. My last purchase was handled by Mehmet. He is also very pleasant to deal with and I have received fantastic service by him also! He has a great team working for him. I would Highly recommend Hutchins and Co Solicitors

Review: Tessa Maloney represented a co-freeholder as we were renewing a lease agreement on a property. This lease agreement was linked to my purchase of another property. The terms of the lease agreement had been agreed and signed by all parties. All that was required for me to complete the purchase was for Tessa to send the signed document onto another solicitor. For some reason Tessa decided to stop answering emails or calls for 12 days 2 days before planned exchange of contracts. We had a chain of purchases planned to happen in this time and her lack of response caused a huge amount of grief and almost caused the whole chain to fall apart. She only finally responded, and then with no apology, after emails to her managing partner and threats to complain to the Ombudsman.
