Review: I would seriously advise individuals to not use Marshall Hall Levy’s conveyancing service for the following reason: - On numerous occasions the information that was sent to the solicitors was not acted upon and delayed my property transaction by around 3-4 weeks. - Poor communication skills. Emails were sent on the day of completion, integral to the follow through of completion, and nothing was mentioned during phone calls. The solicitor (Viki) went home after lunch on the day of completion even whilst facing the possibility of not being able to complete and being homeless for the weekend - After requesting to have a non-simultaneous exchange and completion (to which seemed to fall upon deaf ears) I was then told on the day of completion that funds had not yet hit their account therefore it’s unlikely that the transaction would go through on the day, whilst all my belongings were sitting in a removal van on the side of the road. - More than three weeks after the transaction completed I have been chased by HMRC and my estate agents (which I sold my previous property through) as Marshall Hall Levy had not set up the fee with them and not paid the relevant bodies, even though I settled my itemised bill including payment of fees for estate agents and stamp duty prior to completion. Lots of stress involved which could easily have been avoided if they had their house in order. I totally understand and appreciate that the property market is very busy at the moment however if you can’t provide that service to an adequate standard then do not take on new clients. I’ve given them 1 star on the basis that it isn’t possible to give them 0.

Review: For conveyancing we cannot recommend Marshall Hall Levy. Simple requests were ignored, they lost the mortgage offer and only the secretary after nudging contacted the mortgage company to find it. We understand covid had an impact, but after a number of direct requests John Webster failed to get information so we could extend a short lease.

Review: I have recently sold two properties using this company. I must say that Viki Logan, Kim Hall and Bradley have been amazing to deal with. Considering the volume of work in the run up to the July deadline, the pandemic and being ill themselves, they have surpassed my expectations. Will use again and recommend this company.

Review: Viki Logan at MHL has been fantastic for my parents. She started dealing around April 2020 so mid lockdown, has always responded to e mails quickly and fully answered any questions, not just one word responses. Its not easy working from home without the support of your team. It has taken until October to get finalised but most of that was the buyers mortgage lender who's lawyer were Blacks in Leeds and never answered an e mail in the whole 6 months! Thank you Viki!

Review: Marshall Hall Levy are shocking bad Solicitors my mother passed away nearly two years ago,I received an initial letter requesting details re the sale of her property. They have failed during this time to make any contact or provide updates on the sale of property. Finally last month after contacting them the advised that they needed one final document to complete the sale,emails now bounce back messages left receive no response absolutely disgusting and they will take a sizeable fee for a pathetic service

Review: Unfortunately I cannot recommend this firm. They dealt with a property transaction on my behalf and I found them very slow off the mark and I was having to contact them to get things moving . They were not very forthcoming with uptodate information.
