Review: I did contact them to get advice and legal arrangements to see my son. I agreed to the high fees ( £320 per hour plus VAT) on the first meeting ( £500) and was expecting a draft letter in the next couple of days. No news from them for 14 days. I had to contact them to be reminded of it and got the draft letter finally 25 days after the initial meeting. So much time had passed from the initial meeting that the pertinent actions werent undertaken on my solicitor´s part. In short, some of the points to be negociated were actually the opposite of what they were supposed to be. Their clients care policy says: "Respond promptly to communications from us (and we will of course expect to do the same)" Given the aforementioned issue I obviously tried to agree to meet in person I was told that we could meet through Zoom due to a covid outbreak in their offices. I said it was not convenient as some simple changes could take less time face to face. So I offered to print and correct the documents myself and drop them at their office. After that no answer was received for 4 days therefore I reluctantly decided to terminate my legal relationship with them and thereby do away with their services. The quote I was given for this draft letter and the court application was £1000. The Invoice I have paid is £907 for an unfinished document. As common sense dictates this is an untenable situation that has generated a good deal of anxiety hence the nature of this review.
