Review: Poor communication, delays and errors left me hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I was referred to Core Legal Limited by the Conveyancing Network as they were included on the Santander Solicitors Panel. After sending off the information pack I asked for a completion date within 4 to 6 weeks for a simple transfer of equity transaction. I received no reply to this until a month later I was forced to put in a formal complaint which finally led to a response. Now three and a half months since I informed Core Legal that I needed the transaction completed in a timely fashion to avoid knock on high interest charges, a further error in completing the paperwork for Santander has delayed completion further, leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I’m in the process of raising complaints with The Conveyancing Network regarding why I was referred to this firm and to Santander to investigate why they are considered to be an approved solicitor. I’d obviously recommend no-one else instruct this firm after my experience.
