Review: I would like to write HT legal to thank them for changing my life! I got a loan with UK credit jan 2019 a guarantor loan. Borrowed £2000. The interest was astronomical, and by Nov 2022 £3460.52. If I missed a payment by a second, they'd come at me like blood hounds, and my poor guarantor and I would receive letters through the door like the scene off Harry potter when thousands of letters smash through the letter box. Threatening my guarantor and me with legal action. Safe to say my mental health was on the floor. I contemplate suicide many times..then i realised no...my guarantor would be liable. They would not care! I didn't know how to get out of this rut. I complained as despite a payment holiday and arrangements; they incorrectly marked my credit file with multiple defaults and late payments! I complained yet they flippantly declined it. I was so skint and they really were irresponsible to lend to me but that's how they make their money I guess off the backs of the vulnerable people who get turned away from their banks. They've been chasing me for £332.31 alleged arrears for months...Any way to cut it short...my guarantor came across ht legal and I saw so many good reviews. Ht legal promised they'd fight for me, hold my lender accountable and take it to the financial Ombudsman if they had to. It felt amazing being able to relax and feeling like someone had my back. I couldn't imagine winning..but I got a wonderful email from ht legal saying they've got me a refund of about 4k but 2500would pay off the remaining loan, so I got refunded about 1500 and I'm so pleased! Gave ht their cut and just want to thank them! Always chasing..always representing and keeping me informed. I'd strongly recommend them...just give them a call and they'll talk you through.
