Review: Legal Ombudsman ruled 'Poor Service' & awarded compensation I would give this law firm zero stars if this was option. Ives & Co. were instructed by my elderly parents to undertake conveyancing for a house move. However, Ms Stevenson (Ruddington branch) failed to disclose an important document prior to completion which resulted in a £2,000+ loss for my parents. My parents as you can imagine were devastated. Their complaint was dismissed by the firm and so at the age of 77 they were forced to contact the legal ombudsman to fight for compensation. During the process my dad sadly passed away and never got to see the result as the firm refused to back down even after his death. But I'm pleased to say justice was done for my father and after a lengthy fight justice prevailed and my parents were awarded compensation. The Legal Ombudsman ruled that Ives & Co were guilty of poor service.

Review: Ives and co are a small company for a reason, with dated ways of working and incredibly poor service. If you are looking for a speedy hassle free conveyancing process, i would recommend just about anyone else.
